Job summary

Evelyn Partners, a UK leader in wealth management, seeks a Security Operations Specialist for a 12-month FTC in London. You will provide second/third line review, analysis and incident response within the SOC and support security measures across the tech landscape.

You will collaborate with external partners, drive security improvements, and mentor end users on best practices while ensuring regulatory compliance and robust monitoring.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment.
• 3+ years in security operations or technical security roles.
• Strong understanding of security operations, incident response and detection engineering.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and other relevant models.
• Experience with Azure/365 security environments.
• Relevant degree in InfoSec/CS or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to escalated security incidents in line with timescales and highlight events requiring further investigation.
• Coordinate with third party security service vendors to ensure monitoring and triage on alerts, events, or incidents.
• Analyze security reports to identify trends and work with teams to implement secure behaviours across the business.
• Be part of the Cyber Incident Response team as a technical SME.
• Maintain and deliver phishing campaigns, reporting and remediation management.
• Oversee operational and security maintenance of the security tooling stack across multiple vendors.
