Job summary

ASSYSTEM is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit. You will provide technical expertise across the lifecycle of Electrical Systems for the SMR nuclear power plant, ensuring compliance with high safety and security requirements.

Your responsibilities include design validation, risk management, and collaboration with external organizations. With over 55 years in nuclear engineering, we offer attractive benefits and ongoing training. Hybrid work model allows for 1-2 days remote per week.

Qualifications

• Experienced in a highly regulated industry.
• Ability to travel to Assystem offices and customer sites within the UK.
• Must hold BPSS and SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across the lifecycle of Electrical Systems for the SMR nuclear power plant.
• Design and implement electrical designs to meet high-level requirements.
• Ensure quality is maintained throughout the SMR project lifecycle.
