Job summary

GMCA is seeking a proactive Service Improvement Business Analyst for a 2-year fixed-term contract. The role blends hands-on business analysis, process mapping and diagnostic work with governance and benefits tracking across GMFRS.

You will gather requirements, map current and future processes, and help shape a prioritised improvement pipeline. The post is hybrid, largely based in Manchester with on-site days at Whitefield and HQ, plus home working.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis and process mapping within a complex organisation.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate findings into recommendations.
• Knowledge of governance, performance, assurance and benefits realisation.
• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Undertake business analysis, process mapping and diagnostic activity.
• Develop current and future state process maps and evidence-based solutions.
