Forge in London (Shepherd’s Bush) seeks a Senior Systems Administrator to own and optimize a world-class IT environment across the UK and South Africa. You will manage Windows and Mac, cloud platforms, and security, with hybrid work and frontline accountability.

You’ll report to a US-based IT manager, collaborate across teams, and drive automation and improvements while supporting acquisitions and integrations. A proactive, self-starting mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Senior IT admin with independent ownership of an IT environment.
• Experience supporting Windows and Mac OS.
• Cloud exposure (Azure or AWS).
• Strong Office365, Active Directory and Entra ID knowledge.
• Experience with Google Workspace.
• Patching, AV and endpoint security experience.
• MDM/RMM tools and virtualization knowledge.
• Ability to manage tickets end-to-end and automate tasks (PowerShell a plus).
• Experience supporting IT in acquisitions or business integrations.
• Security stack familiarity (Crowdstrike, Defender, etc).

Responsabilités

• Set up and support workstations and infrastructure in a hybrid office.
• Deploy and support company laptops (Windows and Mac).
• Administer Office365, Entra ID and Azure for UK/EU users.
• Apply security patches and config changes using RMM/MDM tools.
• Own endpoint security and appropriate security controls.
• Participate in change management and rollout projects.
• Handle daily admin tasks, reporting and cross-department communication.
• Maintain antivirus coverage across networks.
• Resolve service desk tickets end-to-end and escalate when needed.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks (PowerShell).
• Lead IT systems integration for acquisitions.
