Job summary

CLIENT is seeking a Risk Manager to lead risk and issue management across the Devonport Major Infrastructure Portfolio. The role is hybrid with 3 days onsite in Plymouth, and possible Portsmouth for the right candidate, on a 12-month contract at £600/day (umbrella, Inside IR35).

You will provide strategic-level advice to the SRO and project leaders, establish evidence-based risk processes, and escalate matters when exposure exceeds tolerances.

Qualifications

• Sole UK national with 5+ years risk management experience.
• Experience on large complex programmes valued, £m+ scale.
• Hold a recognised risk management qualification (APM preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve risk and issue management across the Devonport Major Infrastructure Portfolio.
• Establish a consistent, evidence-based approach to identification, assessment, ownership, treatment, monitoring, reporting and escalation of risks and issues.
• Provide strategic-level advice to the SRO, Portfolio Head and project leaders; support owners to understand exposure and mitigation.
