Job summary

Summer-Browning Associates is seeking a Risk Manager for an initial twelve-month assignment with hybrid working in Plymouth or Portsmouth. The role focuses on establishing a consistent, evidence-based approach to risk and issue management across portfolio, programme and project activity, including ownership, monitoring and escalation.

The ideal candidate will have Active SC clearance and extensive delivery risk management experience on major complex infrastructure projects, with strong project

Qualifications

• 5+ years of risk management experience.
• Experience delivering major complex projects (£200–£500m).
• Experience on infrastructure programmes/projects.
• Experience in project controls.
• Desirable: NEC4 contracts.
• Desirable: Government Yellow Book.

Responsibilities

• Establish a consistent, evidence-based approach to identification, assessment, ownership, treatment, monitoring, reporting and escalation of risks and issues across portfolio, programme and project activity.
• Support delivery risk management and governance activities across major initiatives.
