Mint Selection | B Corp is seeking a Senior Project Planner to drive planning for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the UK. The role ensures seamless execution from inception to completion, contributing to the clean energy transition.

The successful candidate will lead schedule coordination, cost forecasting, and risk analysis, with strong experience in SIMOPS and earned value management. Hybrid working arrangements and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience in project planning within M&E projects.
• Strong expertise in schedule coordination, cost forecasting, and earned value management.
• Solid understanding of SIMOPS, contractor schedule validation, and risk analysis.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and PowerBI.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on delivering high-impact renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor full project lifecycles, reporting progress to senior leadership and project managers.
• Coordinate schedules, costs, and resource models, including developing “what-if” scenarios to mitigate project risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align timelines and validate contractor schedules.
• Analyse schedule and cost variances, ensure SIMOPS compliance, and recommend corrective actions to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Support progress reporting, baseline schedule development, and risk management processes.
• Contribute to lessons learned documentation and project closeout activities.
