Mint Selection | B Corp is seeking a Senior Project Planner to support the delivery of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the UK. You will oversee full project lifecycles from inception to completion, coordinating schedules, costs and resources.

This role emphasizes risk management, SIMOPS compliance, and progress reporting to senior leadership, with a hybrid working pattern and the chance to shape the UK energy transition through high-profile renewable energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience in project planning within M&E projects.
• Strong expertise in schedule coordination, cost forecasting, and earned value management.
• Solid understanding of SIMOPS, contractor schedule validation, and risk analysis.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and PowerBI.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive mindset with a strong focus on delivering high-impact renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor full project lifecycles, reporting progress to senior leadership and project managers.
• Coordinate schedules, costs, and resource models, including developing “what-if” scenarios to mitigate project risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align timelines and validate contractor schedules.
• Analyse schedule and cost variances, ensure SIMOPS compliance, and recommend corrective actions to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Support progress reporting, baseline schedule development, and risk management processes.
• Contribute to lessons learned documentation and project closeout activities.
