Job summary

Mint Selection seeks a Senior Project Planner to drive the delivery of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the UK. You will lead planning from inception to completion, coordinating schedules, costs, and resources to keep projects on track.

The role emphasises SIMOPS, risk analysis, and close collaboration with internal and external teams, with a hybrid working arrangement and a strong focus on the UK energy transition.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project planning experience in M&E projects.
• Expertise in schedule coordination, cost forecasting, and earned value management.
• Knowledge of SIMOPS, contractor schedule validation, and risk analysis.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and PowerBI.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, delivery-focused renewable energy professional.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor full project lifecycles and report progress to senior leadership.
• Coordinate schedules, costs, and resources; develop what-if scenarios to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align timelines and validate contractor schedules.
• Analyse schedule and cost variances, ensure SIMOPS compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support progress reporting, baseline schedule development, and risk management processes.
• Contribute to lessons learned documentation and project closeout activities.
