Job summary

Pen Test Partners LLP is seeking a Senior PHP / Laravel Full-Stack Developer to join our in-house team. You will own features end-to-end across Laravel applications, from design through to deployment, while maintaining a security-first mindset.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of development experience, strong PHP/Laravel skills, and comfort with AI-assisted workflows (Cursor) to enhance specs and coding. Hybrid work; near Buckingham with monthly office time.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial development experience.
• Senior-level PHP/Laravel capabilities with full-stack scope.
• Experience designing and delivering production-grade applications on time.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of features end-to-end across Laravel apps from spec to deployment.
• Design and architect new functionality and justify technical decisions in reviews.
• Refactor and improve existing code, including legacy areas, with risk-aware changes.
• Write and maintain robust tests (PHPUnit, Dusk).
• Engage in peer code reviews and uphold security-focused development practices.
