Job summary

LV= is seeking a Senior Technology Audit professional to shape and deliver risk-based assurance across IT, cyber, data and digital change. You will lead audits end-to-end, partner with technology leaders, and use data analytics to drive insights for governance.

Based in Bournemouth on a hybrid basis, the role focuses on influencing risk mitigation, strengthening IT controls, and ensuring regulatory alignment within a complex financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised technology audit or security qualification (CISA/CISM/CISSP or equivalent).
• Significant IT internal audit or technology risk experience in financial services or regulated settings.
• Proven track record leading risk-based IT audits and delivering concise reports.
• Strong commercial judgement linking tech risk to business outcomes and resilience.
• Knowledge of FCA/PRA expectations and tech control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Shape the technology audit plan through risk assessment and LV= strategy.
• Own IT audits from scoping to reporting, meeting quality/time/budget targets.
• Lead assurance across infrastructure, cyber, data governance, and cloud.
• Support modernisation using data analytics, automation and AI-enabled techniques.
• Report to senior management with clear risk insights and root cause analyses.
• Engage with CIO/CISO and governance forums while maintaining independence.
