Job summary

WSP UK is inviting applications from engineers to design IT networks within buildings, collaborating with mechanical, electrical and plumbing teams. You will liaise with clients to translate requirements into robust BTS solutions and create future-ready building designs.

Role involves detailed BTS designs, feasibility studies and equipment schedules, with opportunities to lead on smaller projects. A chartership‑worthy degree and UK security clearance eligibility are essential for this post.

Qualifications

• Honours degree accredited by CIBSE/IET/Engineering Council or equivalent path to Chartership.
• RevitMEP training applied to the discipline.
• Any accredited network qualification.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK and able to obtain SC-level UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design IT networks within BTS and allied Building Services disciplines.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to capture requirements.
• Develop and issue detailed BTS designs and equipment schedules.
• Carry out feasibility studies and contribute to feasibility across disciplines.
• Work independently or as discipline lead on smaller projects.
• Provide design and technical advice within a multi-team environment.
