Job summary

Russell Taylor Group are recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 main contractor for a Senior Design Manager in Manchester. You will lead the design phase from pre-construction through to on-site delivery, chair design meetings and liaise directly with clients.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years contracting experience, strong knowledge of construction technology, and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project). Hybrid working available after settling in.

Qualifications

• 5+ years contracting experience in major projects.
• Experience delivering design through pre-construction to site.
• Knowledge of construction technology and client liaison.

Responsibilities

• Lead design phases from pre-construction to on-site delivery.
• Chair design meetings and manage the design team.
• Directly engage with clients and coordinate with site teams.
