Job summary

Datatech Analytics is hiring a Senior Data & BI Engineer in Berkshire, with hybrid working and a salary range of £57,000–£67,000 depending on experience. You will own complex data/BI solutions from stakeholder engagement through to pipeline development, data modelling, semantic layers and Power BI delivery.

This role focuses on building a modern data platform using Azure Databricks, Python, PySpark and SQL, tying together marketing, sales and operations data to drive commercial performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Databricks and Python-based data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and PySpark skills for data processing and transformation.
• Advanced Power BI and DAX for building semantic layers and dashboards.
• Ability to own end-to-end data/BI solutions from requirements to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Python, PySpark and SQL.
• Develop scalable Lakehouse architectures with Delta Lake/Unity Catalog concepts.
• Create data and BI products from scratch and shepherd them through implementation.
• Connect marketing, sales and operations data to deliver a complete view of performance.
