Job summary

Datatech Analytics in Watford is seeking a hands-on Head of Data and Analytics to shape our data strategy, build a scalable analytics platform and lead a small team. The role blends strategic oversight with practical implementation across Power BI, SQL, Python and CRM platforms.

The position offers hybrid working from our Watford office and close collaboration with senior stakeholders to enable data-driven decision making and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in data analytics or data management.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, Excel, SQL and Python.
• Experience with Azure data environments and Azure Data Factory.
• Proven track record in building data platforms and pipelines.
• Hands-on with low-code/automation (Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint).
• CRM governance and integration experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate complex analysis for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a firm-wide data and analytics strategy.
• Lead data platform development, pipelines and data models.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing data team.
• Champion data quality and governance across offices.
• Develop analytics, reporting and visualisation solutions (Power BI, Excel).
• Oversee CRM development and workflow improvements.
• Implement automation and low-code solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint).
• Position data and analytics as a commercial service line.
