Job summary

TPXimpact Ltd is seeking a Senior Content Designer to lead content design for client projects across digital and non-digital products. You will work in multidisciplinary teams to ensure content is accessible, clear, and well-formatted, and help clients develop sustainable content production and governance.

You will join an established content design Community of Practice and collaborate with the Head of Content Design to elevate TPXimpact’s approach.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and delivering high-quality content design work at a senior level.
• Experience delivering content design work for online and offline journeys as part of a wider product or service.
• Experience working with hypothesis and user need driven approaches when iterating and improving content.
• Experience defining and working with data to measure success.
• Experience designing solutions that are usable by everyone, including accessibility considerations.
• Experience creating and implementing content design strategy.
• Able to design user centred, accessible content (including microcopy and long form content) for products and services, adhering to GDS standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead content design work in multidisciplinary teams across client projects.
• Occasionally lead small teams of content designers on larger programmes.
• Use analytics, user feedback and research to identify user needs.
• Map user journeys to inform content strategy and design decisions.
• Support content design governance and processes.
• Create and edit content per style guides using plain English.
• Upskill client teams and TPXimpact design community through training and workshops.
• Support user research and collaborate with other design specialists on IA and prototypes.
• Document knowledge and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
• Advocate for best practice in content design across TPXimpact and client projects.
• Contribute to a content design community of practice across TPXimpact.
