Job summary

Smart Energy GB is seeking a Senior Communications Officer in London with hybrid working. You will lead creative PR campaigns, manage influencer collaborations and media partnerships, and support a 24/7 press office to promote the smart meter rollout.

The role focuses on developing engaging content, coordinating with spokespeople, agencies and partners to deliver high-impact communications across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering integrated PR campaigns.
• Ability to write press releases, articles and social content to a high standard.
• Experience briefing spokespeople and talent for interviews or shoots.
• Track record delivering multi-channel influencer and paid media campaigns.
• Experience briefing digital/media teams to optimise paid social results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver creative PR campaigns for targeted audiences.
• Produce campaign plans – concepts, angles, media lists and approaches.
• Project management – timing plans, schedules, adjustments and revisions.
• Arrange media interviews and create briefing materials for spokespeople.
• Produce engaging media materials: press releases, Q&As and briefs.
• Plan and attend radio sessions, shoots and photoshoots with messaging guidance.
• Review content for accuracy and tone across video and written formats.
