Job summary

Smart Energy GB, based in London, is seeking a Senior Communications Officer to support design and development of campaigns and to write high-quality press releases, articles, and social content. You will contribute to a dynamic communications team, manage projects, and brief spokespeople during interviews or shoots.

Reporting to a Senior Communications Manager, the role involves working across campaigns, influencer activity, media partnerships, and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing communications campaigns.
• Writing and editing press releases, articles, social content and other materials to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver creative PR campaigns targeted to specific audience groups.
• Produce campaign plans with concepts, angles, media lists and approaches.
• Project management including timing plans, schedules, and revisions.
• Arrange media interviews and prepare briefing materials for spokespeople and talent.
• Contribute to high quality communications resources: copy, press releases, Q&As and briefs.
• Plan and attend radio, video and photoshoots, guiding messaging and tone.
