Job summary

TLT LLP is recruiting an Associate/Senior Associate to join our national Financial Services Disputes team. Hybrid working is available; the successful candidate can work from any UK base. The role suits a disputes lawyer with 1-5 PQE.

Based in Manchester, you will run a varied contentious caseload for key financial services clients, collaborate with Legal Directors and Partners on complex disputes, supervise junior fee earners, and help develop client relationships across our nationwide offices.

Qualifications

• Qualified disputes and litigation solicitor with 1-5 PQE at a large national or international firm.
• Experience in financial services disputes preferred but not essential.
• Forward thinker with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills.
• Commercial awareness with an enthusiasm for business development.

Responsibilities

• Run a varied contentious caseload for our key financial services clients.
• Work with the team's Legal Directors and Partners in the progression of some of the most complex disputes in the firm's portfolio.
• Supervise junior members of the team.
• Provide strategic and commercial legal advice across a range of disputes and claims, working closely alongside senior members of the team.
• Participate in business development activities with clients and potential clients, nurturing existing relationships and building on new ones.
• Collaborate with colleagues across our office locations nationwide.
