Job summary

TLT LLP in Belfast is recruiting an Associate to join our Disputes team on a hybrid basis. You will handle a varied contentious caseload for financial and commercial clients and provide strategic legal advice alongside senior fee earners.

The role offers opportunities for business development and collaboration with colleagues across our UK offices, reflecting our large, national disputes team.

Qualifications

• Qualified (or newly qualified) Solicitor with 1–4 years PQE in litigation and/or property.
• Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills.
• Self-motivation with ability to manage workloads and deadlines.
• Commercial awareness with enthusiasm for business development.
• Ability to understand client business needs.
• Ambitious and collaborative team player supporting senior fee earners.

Responsibilities

• Run a varied contentious caseload for financial and commercial services clients.
• Provide strategic and commercial legal advice across disputes and claims, working with senior team.
• Participate in business development activities, nurturing existing relationships and building new ones.
• Collaborate with colleagues across office locations nationwide.
