Job summary

Citigroup Belfast is seeking an Applications Support Senior Analyst to provide technical and business support for Citi applications, ensuring stability and efficiency in daily operations.

This role includes start-of-day checks, risk reconciliations, documentation, and collaboration with developers and production teams. The position offers a hybrid work model, generous benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Application Support role.
• Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications.
• Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn.
• Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization
• Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues to non-IT staff.
• Demonstrated analytical skills
• Issue tracking and reporting using tools
• Knowledge/ experience of problem management tools
• Good all-round technical skills
• Ability to plan and organize workload

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and business support for Citi Applications, resolving issues and improving stability.
• Maintain application systems in daily operations.
• Manage and support applications and their environments with focus on stability and quality.
• Start of day checks and regional handover.
• Perform risk reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation.
• Identify ways to maximize application potential and assess production risks.
• Coordinate with development and production support for bug fixes.
• Participate in application releases from development to production.
• Engage in post-implementation analysis to ensure proper design and function.
