Job summary

Reed is seeking an experienced Applications Lead/Manager to join a public sector client on a hybrid basis from London. The role requires SC security clearance and Inside IR35 compliance, with a 6-month rolling contract.

You will drive the operational and strategic management of the applications portfolio, working with delivery managers and suppliers to improve the estate and ensure user-friendly, compliant information capture, storage and analysis.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of applications and cloud capabilities in modern IT estates.
• Strong understanding of ITIL and service management best practices.
• Broad knowledge of application lifecycle planning and governance structures.
• Experience delivering in multi-supplier environments and complex contracts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational and strategic success of the Applications portfolio.
• Collaborate with Application Delivery Managers and third-party suppliers to optimise digital delivery.
• Oversee lifecycle management of applications balancing business needs, risks and opportunities.
