Job summary

Funding Circle in London (Hybrid) seeks a Sales leader to coach and develop the team, maximize potential, and drive efficient delivery across the Sales function.

You will motivate, set ambitious targets, and champion continuous improvement while collaborating with other departments to rollout new initiatives. Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of high performance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume sales role.
• Proven ability to achieve set goals and high performance.
• Experience or interest in management and/or mentoring/coaching.
• Commercially aware with strong business acumen.
• A strong relationship builder internally and externally.
• Strategic and forward thinking.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and performance manage your team to achieve your targets.
• Set short/medium/long term goals with your reports and support their development.
• Lead the implementation of continuous improvement to drive the team forward.
• Champion best practice initiatives and ensure internal controls and policies are adhered to.
• Represent Sales in cross-functional meetings.
• Lead the development and rollout of new initiatives across Funding Circle.
• Manage stakeholders and report & present on team performance.
• Recruit and onboarding new talent into the Sales team.
• Identify ways to use Generative AI to streamline daily tasks and improve productivity.
• Use approved AI tools safely to enhance output and work more efficiently.
