Rockwell PLC is recruiting for an experienced Rockwell PLC Software Engineer to join a specialist systems integrator on a Peterborough-based automation project. The contract is 12 months, hybrid work, and offers £45/hr outside IR35.

The role focuses on Rockwell Studio 5000 PLC software design, development and testing, with potential extension based on project needs and performance. Occasional collaboration with an established team is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong Rockwell Studio 5000 PLC programming experience.
• Proven experience delivering PLC software across the full project lifecycle.
• Experience with Rockwell PlantPAx and FactoryTalk Batch advantageous.
• Food & beverage industry experience beneficial, automation sector also considered.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and test PLC software for the project.
• Deliver PLC software across the full lifecycle of the project.
• Collaborate with the software and automation team to ensure quality.
• Work with Rockwell Studio 5000, PlantPAx and FactoryTalk Batch where applicable.
• No site commissioning required; a separate commissioning team is in place.
