Job summary

Samuel Frank Associates is recruiting a Rockwell PLC Software Engineer for a 12-month contract in Peterborough with hybrid working. The role focuses on PLC software development on an automation project for the food and beverage sector, working with an experienced team.

The contract offers around-the-clock work with a strong emphasis on design and testing, with no site commissioning. Initial 12 months, potential extension, £45/hr outside IR35, hybrid pattern two days in-office and three from home.

Qualifications

• Strong Rockwell Studio 5000 PLC programming experience.
• Proven experience delivering PLC software across the full project lifecycle.
• Experience with Rockwell PlantPAx and FactoryTalk Batch would be advantageous.
• Food & beverage industry experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Focused on PLC software design, development and testing.
• Work alongside an established team of software and automation engineers.
• No site commissioning required – a separate commissioning team is in place.
