Ernest Gordon Recruitment seeks a Lead Automation Engineer (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell) to design and implement PLC and SCADA solutions in a hybrid role based near Peterborough. The role features a salary of £55,000–£60,000 with optional overtime, training, and progression opportunities.

You will lead the automation team, program Rockwell ControlLogix systems and develop FactoryTalk View SE applications across varied industrial projects, ensuring reliable, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Experience with Rockwell Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and FactoryTalk View SE.
• Electrical engineering degree, apprenticeship or equivalent background.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC and SCADA applications
• Programme and configure Rockwell Allen-Bradley ControlLogix systems
• Develop and maintain FactoryTalk View SE applications
• Test, commission and troubleshoot automation systems
• Ensure designs meet relevant regulations and customer specifications
