Job summary

VodafoneThree is seeking a part-qualified or experienced finance professional to join the Revenue & Margin team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Hybrid Newbury. You will manage journals, reconciliations, and SOX evidence while partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders to improve processes.

The role requires solid accounting experience, Excel and Oracle skills, and a proactive approach within a fast-moving telecom environment. A focus on accuracy and timely reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
• Solid experience in accruals, prepayments, month-end close, forecasting, and reconciliations.
• Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Strong focus on quality, controls and continuous improvement.
• Proactive, collaborative and able to work with stakeholders.
• Excellent Excel and Oracle skills.
• Able to communicate clearly with finance and non-finance colleagues.
• Adaptable in a fast-moving, transformational environment.
• Experience in telecommunications or with SAP is advantageous.
• Committed to accurate, timely, and compliant reporting.

Responsibilities

• You'll prepare, post monthly revenue and margin journals within Oracle, ensuring accuracy and controls.
• You'll own balance sheet reconciliations, identifying risks and resolving items.
• You'll support accounting of key revenue and margin areas across the business.
• You'll gather SOX compliance evidence and ensure audit readiness.
• You'll support month-end reporting and ad hoc analyses.
• You'll build partnerships across finance and the business to share knowledge.
• You'll contribute ideas to improve efficiency and controls across revenue accounting.
• You'll help integrate finance processes during transformation.
