Job summary

Tristone Nash is seeking an experienced Compliance Safety Manager for an initial 3-6 month contract in Worthing. The role leads the resident and property safety function, ensuring effective compliance programmes and that residents feel safe in their homes.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will oversee fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, water hygiene and lifts, develop safety policies and provide assurance reporting to senior leadership while managing budgets and specialist contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing compliance and resident safety.
• Knowledge of Building Safety Act 2022.
• Experience with fire safety, gas, electrical, asbestos, water hygiene.
• Strong data reporting and assurance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Resident Safety Team, providing direction and technical leadership.
• Oversee statutory compliance programmes covering fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, water hygiene and lifts.
• Ensure inspections, servicing, risk assessments and remedial actions are completed and evidenced.
• Lead on Building Safety Act requirements, including safety cases and resident engagement.
• Manage and monitor specialist contractors ensuring quality, performance and safety.
• Maintain accurate compliance data and provide reporting to senior leadership.
• Manage resident safety budgets, programmes and resources.
• Develop and maintain resident safety policies and guidance in line with legislation.
• Provide expert advice across the organisation to keep safety a priority.
• Collaborate with residents, contractors and internal teams to identify risks and improve safety services.
