Job summary

The University of Leeds invites applications for three full-time Research Software Engineer roles on campus with hybrid options. Interviews are planned for 4–5 November 2026. Flexible working arrangements may be discussed.

You will develop and support research software, workflows and computational approaches, helping researchers use HPC and related infrastructure. Join a collaborative team advancing AI, bioinformatics, data science and other data-intensive research areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in research software engineering is desirable.
• Familiarity with HPC, workflows and data-intensive research practices is beneficial.

• Help researchers to effectively use institutional and national research computing infrastructure, including HPC.
