Job summary

Onward is recruiting an Early Intervention Specialist (Rent Support Specialist) on a permanent, part-time basis. The role works 14 hours per week—Thursdays and Fridays—in a hybrid, home-based setup with occasional site visits.

You will support customers with arrears, benefit advice, and income protection for tenancy sustainability. You will join the Customer Accounts & Money Advice team, driving timely payments and liaising with local agencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience of delivering high levels of Customer Service.
• Ability to negotiate successful outcomes with stakeholders.
• Competent user of technology and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage rent and service charge accounts up to court level across multiple tenures.
• Provide welfare benefit information and liaise with HB/DWP as required.
• Contact customers to secure payments and maintain income, across channels.
