Job summary

Guardian Jobs in Milton Keynes is seeking a Relationship Executive to join our Supporter Engagement & Legacy Giving team on a hybrid basis. The role is 36.5 hours per week, with one evening per week and one Saturday per month, and a permanent contract.

You will build and manage a portfolio of supporters, making outbound calls to engage them and discuss the impact of legacies. Previous charity or legacy fundraising experience isn’t essential.

Qualifications

• Confident speaking with people and building relationships.
• Experience in customer service, account management, telesales, fundraising, supporter engagement or relationship management is a plus.
• Able to work towards targets and manage a supporter portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Make proactive outbound calls to existing supporters.
• Build trusted relationships and understand motivations.
• Discuss legacy giving and leaving a gift in a Will.
• Follow up supporter campaigns, mailings and events by telephone.
• Share inspiring stories about the difference supporters can make.
• Provide excellent supporter care via calls, emails, letters and other communications.
• Work towards agreed targets for calls, engagement and fundraising outcomes.
• Maintain CRM records and manage your own workload and portfolio.
• Occasionally support events around the UK and meet supporters face-to-face.
