Job summary

bet365 is seeking a Software Development Team Lead for Regulatory Data to head a cross-functional data engineering team delivering regulatory reporting software. You will design and oversee high-performance, cloud-based solutions using GCP/BigQuery and SQL ecosystems, guiding delivery within a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and a startup mindset to drive AI-enabled improvements while upholding regulatory requirements and governance.

Qualifications

Experience with cloud-first data platforms (GCP, BigQuery) and scalable data pipelines.
Familiarity with SQL Server, T-SQL and GoogleSQL for regulatory reporting.
Ability to lead distributed software delivery teams and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own delivery of regulatory reporting solutions to meet requirements.
Lead a cross-functional team across data engineering and software delivery.
Collaborate with Finance and Compliance to prioritise work and timelines.
Mentor and coach team members, supporting development goals.
Drive AI-enabled improvements to workflows and reporting capabilities.
Ensure governance and best design practices in outputs.
