Job summary
Leonardo UK Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Processor Architect and Design Authority to shape next‑gen radar processors for the GCAP programme. The role spans from concept to certification, driving technical solutions in a hybrid work setting with onsite preference in Edinburgh.
The successful candidate will lead multi‑discipline teams, own the technical solution, ensure compliance and design integrity, and engage with customers and partners globally to deliver complex electronic systems
Qualifications
- Experience in developing complex military products and radar domain.
- Familiarity with Requirements, Test Qualification and Acceptance strategies.
- Experience in gaining Design Certification and Customer Acceptance.
- Strong leadership and ability to mentor technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Define advanced radar processor architectures blending semiconductor technologies with high‑speed digital design.
- Lead engineering activities to deliver Processor solutions across GCAP programs.
- Act as Technical lead to a multi‑discipline project team and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Ensure design compliance, safety, and integrity across products.
- Represent the Company in customer engagements and with partners to define technical solutions.
