Job summary

Tristone Nash is assisting a London consultancy to recruit a Quantity Surveyor with client-side housing experience. The role is office-based four days a week and one day from home in central London.

You will deliver a programme of cladding remediation and new build projects, lead on cost estimation, and manage projects through to completion, including reporting risks and ensuring profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost estimating and cost planning for new build and remediation projects.
• Proficient with Excel and cost management software.
• Knowledge of RICS/NRM standards for presenting costs.
• Experience as Quantity Surveyor on housing projects.
• Demonstrate ability to monitor project profitability and client deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a programme of cladding fire/building safety remediation and new build projects.
• Proactively monitor each project and report risks to profitability and deadlines.
• Lead and manage projects from concept to completion as QS/EA/PA.
• Work under guidance of Development Consultancy team or in a project group.
• Use Newforma and Rapport 3 to manage file and accounting processes.
• Provide preliminary and detailed cost estimates and cost plans.
