CareScribe, based in Bristol, is seeking a Mid Level QA Engineer to ensure our platform works for users now and as we scale. You’ll join a small, dedicated QA team collaborating with Engineering, Product and Design to own testing for features from requirement to release.

You’ll explore automated testing, accessibility, and AI-assisted approaches while growing your testing craft in a supportive team with strong user-focus and inclusion values.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, commercial experience of manual end-to-end and regression testing.
• Ability to write test plans and bug tickets for engineers and non-technical colleagues.
• Experience testing across browsers and devices with BrowserStack or similar.

Responsabilités

• Join three amigos sessions before work starts to agree what good looks like.
• Write test plans and execute them as features land, ensuring usability.
• Test across browsers/devices and contribute to a reusable test suite.
• Raise clear tickets with steps, collaborate with engineers to fix issues.
• Check WCAG conformance and accessibility across the product.
• Automate checks where possible using Playwright and AI-assisted testing.
• Flag risks in stand-ups and retros, share learnings with the QA team.
• Suggest better practices and help QA scale with the team.
