• Purchase ledger or accounts payable experience preferred.
• Excel skills and VAT understanding.
• High accuracy with tight payment deadlines.
• Good communication with suppliers.
• Willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and credit notes against PO and delivery notes.
• Allocate costs to budgets and VAT treatment.
• Send invoices to budget holders for sign-off.
• Run weekly and monthly BACS payment cycles.
• Create supplier accounts and update records.
• Raise sales invoices and recoveries.
• Respond to supplier queries by phone and email.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve differences.
• Review utility bills and compare with readings and tariffs.
• Track usage across properties and identify anomalies.
