Job summary

NC Associates Ltd are partnering with a Bromborough-based business to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a busy finance team. The role involves managing the end-to-end purchase ledger process from invoice receipt to payment, ensuring invoices are processed accurately, queries resolved promptly, and supplier accounts kept up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience in Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable.
• Ability to process invoices and reconcile supplier statements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices to Purchase Orders and delivery documentation.
• Code and allocate invoices to correct accounts and cost centres.
• Prepare and process supplier payment runs.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries.
• Ensure invoices are authorised in line with procedures.
• Maintain accurate supplier records.
• Support month-end processes and reporting.
• Identify process improvements within the ledger.
