Job summary

North Yorkshire Council is recruiting Business Analysts to join our Transformation service to identify, develop, and deliver positive change across council services. The role is hybrid, with a mix of home working and a minimum of two days per week in a local transformation hub (Northallerton, Harrogate, Scarborough, Selby).

You will work with diverse stakeholders, identify opportunities for change, and develop cases for change to senior management.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing problems and identifying opportunities to deliver practical solutions.
• Experience working with stakeholders to identify opportunities for change.
• Ability to understand customer interests and requirements throughout analysis and lifecycles.
• Experience presenting cases for change to senior management and partners.

Responsibilities

• Work with a wide range of stakeholders across the Council to identify opportunities for change.
• Develop and present cases for change to senior management and Council partners.
• Manage and undertake analysis activities to define opportunities, benefits and action plans.
• Understand and represent customer interests throughout analysis work and project lifecycles.
• Review the impact and quantify the realization of benefits.
• Be part of a supportive Business Analysis team delivering positive change.
