Job summary

North Yorkshire Council is recruiting Business Analysts to support our Transformation service, helping identify, develop and deliver positive change across council services.

Analysts work with diverse stakeholders to analyse problems, identify opportunities and deliver practical solutions. This role is hybrid, with two days per week in an office base at one of our transformation hubs including Selby.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis within public sector or transformation programs.
• Ability to map customer needs to business requirements and benefits realization.
• Strong communication skills to present cases for change to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for change with a wide range of stakeholders across the Council.
• Develop and present cases for change to senior management and partners.
• Conduct analysis to define opportunities, benefits and action plans.
• Represent customer interests throughout analysis work and project lifecycles.
• Review impact and success of initiatives and quantify realised benefits.
• Be part of a supportive Business Analysis team delivering positive change.
