Job summary

North Yorkshire County Council is recruiting Business Analysts to join our Transformation service, helping identify, develop and deliver positive change across council services. You will model problems, identify improvements and deliver practical solutions that improve public services.

The role is hybrid, with a combination of home working and a minimum of 2 days per week in an office base at Northallerton, Harrogate, Scarborough or Selby. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Identify opportunities for change across the Council.
• Develop and present cases for change to senior management and partners.
• Manage analysis activities to define opportunities, benefits and action plans.
• Represent customer interests throughout analysis work and lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Work with a wide range of stakeholders across the Council to identify opportunities for change.
• Develop and present cases for change to senior management and Council partners.
• Manage and undertake a range of analysis activities to further define opportunities, benefits and action plans.
• Understand and represent the customer interests, requirements and perspectives throughout analysis work and project lifecycles.
• Review the impact and success of initiatives, to assess and quantify to what extent benefits have been realised.
• Be part of a supportive and dedicated Business Analysis team who are committed to delivering positive change.
