Job summary

Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is recruiting a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to deliver evidence-based interventions for people with complex mental health problems in Swindon. The post welcomes newly qualified psychologists or those with some experience and supports specialist training such as EMDR.

The Swindon PTS team includes Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, CBT Therapists, a Family Therapist and Arts Psychotherapists, with opportunities for blended

Qualifications

• Newly qualified psychologists, or those with some experience.
• Experience with trauma presentations (e.g., CPTSD, PTSD) would be invaluable, with openness to specialist training such as EMDR.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessment, formulation and evidence-based psychological intervention to a caseload of service users with complex presentations, including CPTSD/PTSD co-morbidity.
• Collaborate with MDT colleagues, supervise and support staff, and contribute to ongoing service transformation and development.
