Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is recruiting a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to deliver evidence-based psychological interventions for complex mental health problems, including CPTSD/PTSD. The role welcomes newly qualified applicants and offers support for specialist training, including EMDR, within a multidisciplinary Swindon PTS team.

You will work with a team of clinical and counselling psychologists, CBT therapists, and allied professionals, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Newly qualified or some experience in psychology is acceptable.
• Experience with trauma histories, including CPTSD/PTSD, is valuable.
• Opportunity to pursue specialist training (e.g., EMDR) will be supported.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team and training providers.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist assessment, formulation and evidence-based intervention for a caseload with CPTSD/PTSD and comorbid presentations.
• Liaise with the Recovery Team and MDT colleagues to coordinate referrals and care.
• Contribute to the CMS and CMHF transformation and offer supervision/consultancy as needed.
