Qualifications

• Previous experience in project finance transactions on front team or as a credit reviewer in credit risk management is preferable.
• Experience gained in a financial institution is preferable.
• Proficient/Advanced-Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor existing project finance transactions on an ongoing basis.
• Understand the bank's credit risk management framework and internal rating system.
• Perform regular and ad-hoc internal credit rating assessments for project finance transactions.
• Create Ringi for internal approvals with branch management and Tokyo HO if needed.
• Analyze cash flow models for transaction monitoring purposes.
• Assist the deal closing team throughout the transaction lifecycle (documents, KYC, funding requests with treasury, drawdown).
• Provide administrative support to the SFD admin team, especially during quarter-end peak periods.
• Conduct research and produce reports related to the Branch credit portfolio on an ad-hoc basis.
• Assist senior manager with internal Branch reporting when required.
• Attend lenders/parties meetings and site visits for monitoring purposes if needed.
