Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan UK are recruiting a Project Quantity Surveyor for a high-end regeneration project in Sloane Square, London. The role offers a permanent, hybrid pattern with one day per week from home and a competitive package.

You will manage procurement, cost reporting, and commercial activity across a large-scale scheme, engaging with clients and the wider project team from pre-construction through to delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting environment.
• Experience with Tier 1 or reputable Tier 2 main contractors would be advantageous.
• Strong commercial management including subcontract procurement, package management, valuations & final accounts.
• Understanding of contracts, subcontract administration and risk management.
• Experience on large-scale commercial/regeneration projects preferred.
• Confident communicator with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline advantageous.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage key trade packages from procurement through to final account.
• Procurement of subcontractors, tender analysis, package reviews and negotiations.
• Manage subcontractor applications for payment, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, CVRs, forecasts and commercial updates.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Work with the Project Manager, Project Director and wider site team to support delivery.
• Maintain client interaction with commercial updates and relationship management.
• Assist with pre-construction activities and early commercial planning.
• Ensure commercial procedures and contractual obligations are maintained.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, clients and the project team.
• Take ownership of allocated packages from start to completion.
