Job summary

Reading Borough Council is looking for an experienced Project Manager - Neighbourhood Working to lead a major transformation across health, care and community services in Reading. You will coordinate multi-agency activity, shape sustainable neighbourhood models and ensure delivery to timescales, budgets and quality standards.

Qualifications

• A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience, together with training or qualifications in recognised project or programme management methodologies, is essential.
• Experience delivering large-scale transformation projects in a multi-agency environment across health, social care or local government services.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
• Experience managing project budgets, risks, governance and benefits realisation.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, mobilisation and implementation of complex, system-wide neighbourhood working projects.
• Coordinate multi-agency activity and ensure projects are delivered to timescales, budgets and quality standards.
• Develop sustainable neighbourhood models with senior leaders and partners across health and care.
• Produce reports, presentations and governance updates for senior partnership boards and stakeholders.
• Support delivery of wider health and care priorities including prevention and improved discharge pathways.
