Job summary

Ignite Systems is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead client delivery engagements from initiation through successful implementation and adoption.

The role is highly collaborative and client-facing, requiring delivery leadership, business analysis, and stakeholder management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and with tangible business value. Hybrid working in the Bolton area.

Qualifications

• Experience managing software, tech, SaaS, or digital transformation projects.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and defining solutions.
• Structured approach to project planning, governance, and delivery management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and commercial awareness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation through implementation.
• Oversee scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and governance.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and translate needs into deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Quality.
• Drive progress, resolve blockers, and ensure on-track delivery.
• Own project reporting and provide visibility of status, risks, and decisions.
• Support validation, testing, UAT, and release readiness.
• Ensure smooth deployment and transition into business-as-usual operations.
