Job summary

Lycetts Insurance Brokers, part of Benefact Group, is recruiting a Project Manager for its Newcastle office on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. You’ll lead and deliver a range of business change initiatives, ensuring plans are well defined, implemented and embedded to support strategic objectives.

The role requires hands‑on delivery in a collaborative environment with strong planning and stakeholder management, plus experience with agile or hybrid delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering business change and project initiatives from inception to implementation.
• Strong project planning, organisation and prioritisation skills with experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the business.
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting change adoption, user engagement and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of projects and change initiatives across the Lycetts business change portfolio.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to shape, plan and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops and project governance activities.
• Monitor project progress, managing risks, issues, dependencies and actions to ensure delivery remains on track.
• Provide clear and timely reporting to stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Support business subject matter experts in defining requirements, testing solutions and adopting change.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), training activities and change adoption plans.
• Foster strong stakeholder engagement, helping teams understand and embrace new ways of working.
• Drive a practical, delivery-focused approach, stepping in where needed to ensure successful outcomes.
