Leonardo in the UK is seeking a Project Leader for the Infrared Detectors team at the Southampton site. The role requires coordinating diverse projects, managing schedules, cost and risk, and reporting progress to management and customers.

Travel may be required; familiarity with APM practices and experience in manufacturing-related projects are important. A security clearance path is noted, and the role supports a hybrid working arrangement.

• Knowledge of different project management techniques and when/how to use them.
• Experience delivering projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, work package management and cost control.
• Positive attitude, energetic team player who can also work autonomously.

Mansioni

• Plan, manage, monitor and report on multiple projects within lifecycle processes.
• Close management of project schedules using MS Project and P6/SAP.
• Monitor costs and implement corrective actions to stay within budget.
• Coordinate IPT activities and establish effective communication and reporting.
• Maintain project risk and opportunity registers throughout the lifecycle.
• Build stakeholder relationships to maximise customer satisfaction.
• Lead reviews, drive continuous improvement and best practices.
