Job summary

CMR is recruiting a Project Controls Manager to lead and set up the project controls capability for a major UK programme. The role involves guiding data interpretation for monthly reporting, establishing the PMB and coordinating KPI data across time, cost, risk and quality to inform decisions at senior levels.

The position demands managing multidisciplinary teams, implementing governance, and ensuring integration of schedule, cost, risk and reporting across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Programme Controls on large, complex construction projects.
• Strong stakeholder relationship management across multiple levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate workshops with multiple stakeholders to identify and mitigate issues.
• Experience integrating risk, planning, cost change control, document control and reporting teams.
• Experience managing teams of highly skilled specialists.
• Experience of managing project controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and set up the project controls capability for a major project or programme – people, procedures, systems.
• Provide interpretation of the data in the monthly reporting to support prompt decision making by the SLT.
• Establish and manage the PMB and supervise the project control deliverables to collate monthly KPI & progress data.
• Implement effective project governance, processes and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage and coordinate the project controls function through the supply chain.
• Be responsible for integrating the disciplines including schedule, cost, risk, quality and reporting.
• Assurance of data and adherence to PMO policies, processes and standards.
