Job summary

Nottingham City Council is offering a Fixed Maternity Cover for 12 months as a Project Support & Compliance Officer based at Nottingham. The role supports Home Office programmes including refugee resettlement, asylum dispersal and community sponsorship, with hybrid working and 37 hours per week.

You will coordinate administration, funding claims, reporting, and governance, maintain financial and compliance records, and work with landlords, housing providers and partners to deliver compliant

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support project administration, monitoring and reporting activities.
• Coordinate funding claims and data returns to Government departments and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate financial, performance and compliance records.
• Support procurement, invoicing and budget monitoring processes.
• Develop and maintain systems, databases and monitoring tools.
• Ensure compliance with funding requirements, governance arrangements and GDPR.
• Coordinate accommodation, arrivals and transfers for resettlement programmes.
• Liaise with landlords, housing providers and partner agencies to support service delivery and compliance.
• Produce reports, briefings and performance information for senior managers and stakeholders.
• Support and mentor colleagues within the wider team.
